Ledaig 2000 G&M Connoisseurs Choice Review

Hi everyone,

Another lovely Ledaig to love today. These Gordon & MacPhail's bottlings are normally on the lighter side of Ledaig.

Ledaig 2000 Connoisseu's Choice 46%
Colour: Gold
Body: Medium
Nose: What a nose. Meaty, slightly charred pork, sulphurous, Parmesan cheese, some green apple.
Taste: Soft, lacking power, but some spices, ginger, green apple, a little meat and cheese again but not much.
Finish: Medium/Long. Spices and oak, late white pepper.
From refill bourbon & Sherry. A nice one but the taste and finished don't really live up to the great nose.
74/100

Thanks for reading!
