Timorous Beastie 21 Sherry Review

Hi everyone,

Another quick review now from Douglas Laing's blended malt stuff. I've tried the Timorous Beastie before but they've started doing limited editions at older ages too.
This one is 21 years old and matured in Sherry casks. Still available too, despite only being just over 2700 bottles.

Timorous Beastie 21 46.8%
Colour: Amber
Body: Medium
Nose: Lovely Sherry, raisin, malt, oily, apple crumble with some stewed fruit.
Taste: Soft, malt, oily then spicy with dry oak, Sherry sweetness, cherry and raisin.
Finish: Long length. Great mix of sweet and spicy with some chilli chocolate.
A great one, definitely. Nice balance and interesting flavours.
81/100

Thanks for reading!
